Service Care Solutions is proud to be assisting a local authority in Lewisham in recruiting for a Safer Communities Domestic Abuse MARAC Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to work on behalf of a forward-thinking local authority and contribute to the delivery of Lewisham's Domestic Abuse and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Strategy.



About the Role

As the Domestic Abuse MARAC Coordinator, you will act as the main point of contact for Lewisham's Domestic Abuse Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (DA MARAC). Your role will ensure the effective administration, coordination, and development of MARAC processes to support high-risk victims of domestic abuse and violence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • MARAC Coordination: Overseeing the smooth operation of MARAC processes, managing referrals, preparing meeting agendas, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Training Delivery: Providing practitioners with training to support victims and navigate MARAC processes effectively.
  • Data Analysis: Managing referral and outcome data to identify trends and inform service improvements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partnering with statutory and voluntary agencies to enhance support for victims, including those from underrepresented groups.
  • Strategy Implementation: Supporting initiatives aligned with the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and the Lewisham VAWG Strategy (Apply online only).

Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong understanding of VAWG-related legislation, strategies, and best practices.
  • Proven experience coordinating multi-agency responses for vulnerable groups.

Qualifications
