Role Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral and Wellbeing specialist to join our secondary school in London. This role is similar to a deputy, non-teaching Head of Year, focusing on the wellbeing and support of students.
Responsibilities:
- Lead attendance for a specific year group
- Provide operational support for the year group
- Conduct wellbeing check-ins with students
- Support the Head of Year with referrals to interventions
- Perform various duties as assigned
- Conduct home visits as needed
Requirements:
- Experience in a pastoral or similar role within an educational setting
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents
- Commitment to student wellbeing and development
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
