Role Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral and Wellbeing specialist to join our secondary school in London. This role is similar to a deputy, non-teaching Head of Year, focusing on the wellbeing and support of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead attendance for a specific year group
  • Provide operational support for the year group
  • Conduct wellbeing check-ins with students
  • Support the Head of Year with referrals to interventions
  • Perform various duties as assigned
  • Conduct home visits as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience in a pastoral or similar role within an educational setting
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and development
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
