Aspiring Counsellors

We are looking for dedicated Aspiring Counsellors to join a Special School in Islington as a SEN Teaching Assistant working with secondary-aged children. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience while supporting students with special educational needs (SEN). As an Aspiring Counsellor, you will assist with learning, therapy programmes, personal care, and supporting students' emotional development.

The school in Islington requires their SEN Teaching Assistants to be based in class, supporting students' emotional, academic, and social development. Personal care is needed to be done for students who may require assistance with activities such as:

  • Assisting with dressing and undressing
  • Helping with toileting and hygiene
