Accommodation Solutions Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and proactive individual to support households in temporary accommodation, providing expert advice and facilitating effective move-on to permanent housing. This role is integral to ensuring individuals and families secure appropriate housing solutions, including social housing, private rented options, and intermediate rent properties.
The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing the suitability of accommodation, addressing tenancy-related issues, and managing the placement process to make the best use of available housing resources. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, this role involves conducting tenancy audits, responding to emergency transfer requests, and supporting legal enforcement cases where necessary. Strong decision-making skills and a solid understanding of housing legislation are essential, as is the ability to work independently while handling complex cases.
