My client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Director for Adult Social Care Operations on a Contract basis.

Reporting directly to the Director of Adult Social Services, you will be a core member of the Strategic Leadership Team for Health and Adult Social Care

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

  • Your key responsibilities include strategic planning, engagement, and operational delivery of key services, with accountability for the financial management and control of the adult social care budget.
  • Responsible for performance management, where required, in a clear, timely, and professional way.
  • Accountable for the leadership and management of services, safeguarding, and providing assurance that risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated across the allocated group of services
  • It is essential that you develop and deliver high-quality services for local people in partnership with stakeholders

About you:You will have the following experiences:

  • A Social Work Qualification / SWE registration is essential.
  • Substantial experience of successfully delivering Adult Social Care services and leading change for adults with complex needs and those experiencing multiple disadvantages in a diverse, urban environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience of managing significant budgets, identifying and delivering efficiency savings

What's on offer:

  • Salary: £650-£700 per day, inside IR35
