We are seeking a Regional Director of Housing for one of the largest housing associations in the UK. This pivotal role will contribute significantly to the development and delivery of strategic plans, providing leadership across the region to ensure the delivery of high-quality housing and neighbourhood management services.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Act as the figurehead for the region, providing leadership, support, and direction to ensure the achievement of regional and group objectives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance neighbourhood management and repairs services, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
  • Partner with the regional development team to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
  • Influence investment and asset management strategies to optimise the use of housing stock, including the disposal of non-viable assets.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective management of relationships.
  • Lead initiatives to ensure active and effective resident involvement within the region.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as a senior director or regional director within a Housing Association.
  • Proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary services that deliver high-quality neighbourhood management, customer satisfaction, and repair services across a large area or region.
  • Strong experience in governance, board management, business planning, and managing substantial budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage resident involvement teams at a senior level, achieving high resident satisfaction.
  • Experience in delivering housing and neighbourhood services, ideally within a national Housing Association.
  • Skilled in leading significant change projects and managing complex case loads.
  • Proficient in contract and service charge management, with a thorough understanding of the social housing environment, including regulation and emerging government policy.
  • Ability to build positive, yet robust, relationships with external stakeholders.
