To work as part of a team providing the a Shelter as an accommodation, assessment and support service for people experiencing rough sleeping.

To hold responsibility for applying expertise of relevant legislation and to use your initiative to achieve good outcomes for people who use the service.

Providing comprehensive assessments around support needs and identifying opportunities for appropriate move-on options and successfully achieving those move-ons to a targeted timescale.

The Candidate

  • Experience of working with people experience homelessness and working with them to achieve good outcomes in a busy work environment.
  • A sound understanding of the issues faced by people who are homeless or vulnerably housed and experience of delivering good outcomes in this context.
  • Proven ability to empower individuals to make positive changes and support people to address their needs.
