Housing Advice & Homeless Prevention Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Housing Advice & Homeless Prevention Officer to join our client's team and support individuals in securing sustainable housing solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by providing expert guidance, preventing homelessness, and helping people navigate the complex housing system.

In this role, you will provide tailored housing options advice, ensuring individuals understand their rights and available solutions, including security of tenure, low-cost homeownership, and private rental options. You will assess individual circumstances, conduct statutory evaluations, and determine the most appropriate interventions to prevent homelessness.

Managing a diverse caseload, you will work proactively with individuals to explore long-term housing opportunities, facilitate move-on strategies, and make necessary referrals to support services. You will collaborate closely with key partners, including landlords, housing associations, social care services, and external agencies, to deliver effective housing solutions.

Our client is looking for a professional with strong case management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of housing legislation.
