We are looking for a proactive and empathetic Accommodation Solutions Officer to support individuals and families in temporary accommodation, guiding them towards sustainable, long-term housing solutions.

• Helping households move on - providing advice on housing options, including social housing, private rentals, and intermediate housing.
• Assessing accommodation suitability - ensuring placements meet statutory requirements and organisational policies.
• Liaising with key teams - working with procurement, contract management, social services, and legal teams to resolve housing issues.
• Supporting tenants - ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements, addressing anti-social behaviour, and making referrals for additional support.
• Handling urgent cases - responding to emergency transfers, managing complaints, and supporting enforcement actions where necessary.
• Monitoring and reporting - tracking housing applications, analysing move-on trends, and maintaining accurate records.

• A strong communicator who can liaise confidently with residents, housing providers, and stakeholders.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Solution-focused, with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills to find practical housing solutions.
• Empathetic yet firm, understanding residents’ challenges while ensuring policies are followed.
• Experience in housing, social services, or a related field is desirable, but a proactive and dedicated mindset is essential.
