Are you a dedicated and experienced Housing Manager. As the Housing Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the housing team and department.

ROLE: Housing Manager (Fully Site Based)

CONTRACT: Temp-Perm

KEY AREA'S: Housing Management, Allocations/Lettings, Safeguarding, Fraud Prevention, Member Engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the housing services department and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
  • Manage a team of housing officer's.
  • Develop and implement housing management strategies to optimise occupancy rates and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of housing services.
  • Collaborate with external partners, stakeholders, and contractors to facilitate the provision of quality housing services.
  • Promoting a Safe Environment: Upholding and actively promoting safeguarding policies and procedures and ensuring the safety and well-being of all members, particularly vulnerable individuals in line with confidentiality procedures/policies and GDPR.
  • Monitor and analyse housing market trends, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing appropriate strategies.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure that housing services meet established standards.
  • Prepare and present reports on housing services performance, including key metrics, to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practises in housing management.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of housing services and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing housing management strategiesto improve service delivery.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and housing/property management software.

This is a temp-perm contract position with the potential for extension based on organisational needs.
