Job Title: Housing Officer
Location: East London
Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time (36 hours per week)
Salary: £18.95 - £22.90 per hour

Responsibilities:As a Housing Officer, you will play a vital role in:
- Identifying vulnerable residents and collaborating with partner agencies to ensure safe living conditions
- Managing various aspects of Tenancy Management, including successions, assignments, mutual exchanges, and legal matters
- Proactively addressing anti-social behaviour through effective case management and negotiation
- Keeping detailed records and updating victims on progress
- Attending out-of-hours meetings and engaging in lone working when necessary
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Resilience and a self-starter attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills to navigate challenging situations
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proven negotiation abilities
- Experience in proactive case management
- Access to a car (full driving licence required)
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Previous experience in housing or social services
- Knowledge of tenancy law and housing regulations
- Familiarity with community support services and agencies
- Working with vulnerable residents
