Make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality housing management services within a sheltered housing environment. This role focuses on ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of older and vulnerable residents while maintaining high standards for the buildings and communal areas. By working closely with key partners and stakeholders, you will help create a safe and welcoming living environment where residents feel secure and supported.

Bringing experience in working with older people, you will have a strong understanding of the challenges they face. The ability to engage effectively and fairly with individuals from diverse backgrounds is essential, along with strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and maintain high standards. A key part of this role involves enforcing tenancy agreements, assisting with tenancy sign-ups, and providing guidance and support to residents. Regular scheme inspections will be required to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all relevant health and safety policies. Reporting and monitoring repairs, liaising with contractors, and ensuring a quick turnaround on vacant properties are all part of maintaining an efficient and effective housing service.

In addition to supporting residents with housing-related issues, you will play a role in monitoring and liaising with support agencies to ensure their needs are met. Ensuring that telecare and emergency response systems are functioning properly and that residents are familiar with their use will be a critical aspect of this position. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, conducting annual tenancy checks, and handling any concerns regarding safeguarding, rent arrears, or tenancy breaches.

This position requires working on-site Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with no remote working option. Due to the nature of the role, an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.
