Specialist Resettlement Coordinator, Housing, North London Role Overview:Pertemps is seeking a Specialist Resettlement Coordinator to support vulnerable single individuals leaving prison and hospital by completing homelessness assessments and applications. This role is crucial in ensuring that those at risk of homelessness receive timely intervention and appropriate housing solutions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct homelessness assessments and applications in accordance with homelessness legislation.
  • Work closely with prisons, hospitals, housing services, and support agencies to facilitate effective resettlement.
  • Provide housing advice, support, and advocacy to vulnerable individuals.
  • Identify and assess the housing and support needs of clients and develop tailored resettlement plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including health and probation services.
  • Maintain accurate records and case notes to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
Working Arrangements: Hybrid – 1 day in the office (Edmonton) & 1 day at North Middlesex Hospital Key Requirements:
  • Experience in homelessness services, housing advice, or resettlement support.
  • Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation and housing policies.
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, particularly those leaving prison or hospital.
  • Excellent assessment, case management, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multi-agency teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
