- Lead and manage a team of Personal Advisors and Social Workers supporting care leavers.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality pathway planning in line with statutory duties.
- Promote independent living skills, education, employment, and wellbeing support for care leavers.
- Maintain high practice standards and ensure compliance with Children & Social Work Act 2017 and Leaving Care statutory guidance.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff to drive performance and best practice.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to enhance opportunities for young people.
- Monitor and assess service delivery, ensuring young people receive timely and effective interventions.
- Support young people with housing, financial support, and emotional wellbeing.
- Provide strategic leadership to enhance outcomes for care-experienced young adults.
- Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Extensive Leaving Care experience in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in Good or Outstanding Boroughs.
- Strong leadership, management, and performance oversight skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Leaving Care legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and multi-agency partnerships.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities.
