About the Role:

As a Social Worker in our Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a complex caseload of individuals with a range of mental health conditions.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments, including mental health assessments, and developing personalised support plans.
  • Working collaboratively with service users, their families, and carers, promoting self-advocacy and empowerment.
  • Liaising and collaborating with a range of partner agencies, including mental health services, community health teams, housing providers, and voluntary organisations.
  • Providing crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Safeguarding vulnerable adults and adhering to all relevant legislation and policies.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

About You:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with individuals with mental health needs.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance, including the Mental Health Act 1983 and the Care Act 2014.
  • Excellent assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • A commitment to promoting recovery and wellbeing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with service users.
