Infrastructure Automation Engineer
- Up to £600/day
- Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office, 2 days WFH (Non-negotiable)
About the Client and Role
This is an exciting contract opportunity for an experienced Automation Engineer to join a prestigious financial organisation and shape the company's future technology direction. You will join a small infrastructure team to improve, automate, and standardise their systems. A great for someone to join a newly created role to work on cloud and automation projects. Our Client is looking for someone who is willing to conduct high level support and design, as well as project based work.
Essential Requirements:
- High capacity and willingness to learn
- Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop/server and Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/Group policy is essential
- Demonstrable experience working in a hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure role
- Demonstrable experience with one of the major public cloud providers
- Strong automation skills with Python and/or PowerShell
- Experience with administering Office 365/EntraID/Intune
