Lead MuleSoft DeveloperMuleSoft Developer is required to play a team lead role at a global Financial Services company.This exciting and challenging role will see you use your people management skills to lead a team of four experienced MuleSoft Developers.Bringing deep MuleSoft skills and knowledge you will be responsible for managing, motivating and driving the team to execute this business's long-term API vision and strategy as part of its digital transformation initiatives. You will still have the opportunity to utilise your hands-on development skills but the main focus will be turning your team into a high-performing unit.To be considered, you will be a MuleSoft Developer who has demonstrable experience of leading and managing a team and developing team members. You will bring a solid software engineering background as well as the following skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience in Mule v4 including either/both on-premise and CloudHub runtimes
  • A self-starter with experience of managing, leading and coaching a high performing team of MuleSoft Developers or Engineers
  • Proven track record of working with stakeholders in large, complex organisations
  • Experience in developing APIs using MuleSoft within Agile delivery teams
  • Knowledge of REST design principles and API design/architecture best practices
  • Knowledge and proven experience of three-layer integration architecture principles
  • Experience of Dataweave
  • Knowledge of OAS and/or RAML
  • Knowledge of XML and JSON
  • Knowledge of API security standards
  • Experience in CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps (or similar)
  • Proven unit testing skills using the MUnit framework
MuleSoft Certifications are desirable, and in addition to your technical and leadership skills you must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.In return, the successful candidate can expect a package of £84,700 + Benefits, made up of a basic salary up to £70,000 (depending on experience), annual bonus (9%), generous 12% non-contributory pension and amazing benefits including private medical, life assurance, 25 days holiday, and flexible benefits including subsidised gym, dental, discounted gadgets, buy/sell holiday, etc.This business has a great culture and offers superb training and career progression opportunities.
