Automation Engineer (Testing)

Lorien's leading banking client is looking for Automation Engineers to join the existing team on a brand-new project.

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and implementing cutting-edge automation frameworks and testing strategies from scratch. You will work within a dynamic environment, ensuring the seamless delivery of robust, efficient, and scalable solutions across our banking and data analytics platforms.

This role is based at a local site.

This role will be Via Umbrella.

Working in a Hybrid Model of 1 day a week on site.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks from the ground up.Set up comprehensive automation testing processes to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end automation solutions within a banking and data analytics environment.
  • Analyse and identify areas for process optimisation and automation.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in automation testing.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in building automation frameworks and automation testing strategies from scratch.
  • Strong expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or equivalent frameworks.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation within them.
  • Experience working within banking, financial services, or data and analytics environments.Strong knowledge of API testing and data validation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
