Software Tester - Predominately Remote (1 day a month in the office)

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality, user-friendly software? Join our team as a Software Tester, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of software products through rigorous testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to identify and document software defects, ensuring adherence to testing policies and best practices.
- Test Planning: Assess testing requirements, create effective test strategies, and schedule testing activities to meet project delivery timelines.
- Execution & Reporting: Lead and execute testing activities, collaborate with the business to create test scripts, and deliver detailed testing reports to confirm outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and business analysts, to resolve issues and refine software solutions.
- Tools & Methodologies: Utilise a range of testing tools and methodologies to enhance quality assurance processes and liaise with third-party vendors where necessary.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in software and infrastructure testing, including process and system analysis.
- Knowledge of SQL data queries and test management tools (e.g., defect tracking systems).
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical terminology into plain English for diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to travel to suppliers or development partner sites if needed.

This will predominately be based from home but the client does have an office in Central London and on average 1-2 times a month the Tech team get together for Workshops
