As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working with a child with complex needs (see below), supporting them on a 1:1 and small group basis, to access the curriculum.

JOB DESCRIPTION - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

• SEN Teaching Assistant
• Working with a Y2 child with high needs
• Supporting in and out of the classroom
• Supporting the child on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Long Term & Full Time - until at least July 2025
• £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

PERSON SPECIFICATION - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

• Must have a strong SEN background - either personal / informal or professional capacity
• Ability to be versatile & support children’s various needs
• Proactive, energetic and strong handling skills
• Calm and compassionate nature
• Ability to demonstrate patience and sensitivity
• Holds a registered DBS or be willing to apply for one ASAP
