Daily Supply Teaching Assistant

Rate: £90 - £100 Per day

Insight Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate teaching assistant who is willing to support key stage 1&2 within a Primary School in Greenwich. This role offers the flexibility to work in different schools, delivering high-quality teaching and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular class teachers.
 

Requirements

  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
