About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work in a 1-form entry primary school in Lambeth. This full-time role starts in January and focuses on supporting KS1 pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils in small groups or 1:1 sessions.
  • Assist children with SEND, including:
    • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
    • Speech and Language Needs
    • ADHD
    • Sensory Processing Challenges
    • Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
    • Dyslexia and other learning difficulties.
  • Work closely with teachers and the SEND team to implement and support Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Help create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress to teachers and parents.

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
