Job Description:

  • Support a child with SEN, including ADHD and Autism, in a Year 5 class
  • Work both in and out of the classroom to provide tailored support
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to ensure the child’s success
  • Provide emotional and academic support to help the child develop independence and confidence
  • Long-term, full-time role until at least July 2025

Person Specification:

  • A good academic background (degree, A-levels, GCSEs)
  • Previous experience in a similar role or personal experience with SEN is ideal
  • Calm, compassionate, and patient nature
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and a willingness to learn
  • Must hold a current DBS or be willing to apply for one
