A well-regarded secondary school in Hackney is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time, term-time position is available after the easter break and offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute meaningfully to students' academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored in-class support to students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties

Assist in adapting lesson content and materials to accommodate individual learning styles

Support students in both one-to-one and small group settings

Promote positive behaviour and the development of social skills

Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents
Candidate Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN

A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
