A well-regarded secondary school in Hackney is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time, term-time position is available after the easter break and offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute meaningfully to students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored in-class support to students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties

  • Assist in adapting lesson content and materials to accommodate individual learning styles

  • Support students in both one-to-one and small group settings

  • Promote positive behaviour and the development of social skills

  • Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

  • Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
