TRANSPORT: Excellent Transport Links - Access to the Overground, Bakerloo and Jubilee Lines - Zone 2

QUALIFICATIONS: Strong academic background - educated to a degree level

START DATE: ASAP 2025

PAY: £85 - £100 per day

An OUTSTANDING mainstream Primary School located in the North London borough of Camden are seeking a Learning Support Assistant- SEN support to join their team this year on a full-time and long-term contract.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with and supporting children with a range of needs including but not limited to Autism (ASC), ADHD, Dyslexia and mild learning difficulties. You will be collaborating with Teachers, SENCOs and Therapists to support students through a combination of 1:1 interventions, small group activities and general classroom support.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: Learning Support Assistant - SEN Support

  • 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable UK University

  • Creative, driven and strong-minded

  • Experience working with or caring for children or young people with Special Educational Needs

  • General understanding of national/KS2 curriculum and other basic learning programmes/strategies

  • Able to work well within a team

  • An interest in working with children/ in education

  • High standards of Maths and English

  • Previous experience working with children or education preferable
