Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Islington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work 1:1 with pupils or in small groups to support learning and development.
- Assist with general classroom duties, including preparing resources, supporting teachers, and managing behavior.
- Provide tailored support for students with a range of SEND needs, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
- Prior experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting children in their learning journey.
