SEN Teacher Assistant - Full Time - January Start - South East London
Are you a dedicated and resilient individual? We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher Assistant to work full time at a special needs school based in South East London. This special needs school focus on a more personalised approach to teaching, ensuring each learner can reach their potential with confidence.
You with be assisting smaller classrooms with around 6 students to ensure a 1:1 approach to learning.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting children in Key Stage 1 & 2 with an Autism diagnosis as their primary area of need
- Keeping up to date with safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school
- Understand barriers to learning and how to overcome them
- Use positive behaviour techniques
This special needs school is located only a 10 minute walk away from the nearest station, making an easy journey to and from work.
