SEN Teacher Assistant - Full Time - South East London - January Start

We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher Assistant to work full time at a special needs school based in South East London. This is a new special needs school who teach across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with a focus on providing a safe and happy environment for young autistic individuals to thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school
- Ensure flexibility with teaching support by adapting teaching style to better suit each individuals needs
- Understand how autism can create barriers to learning and how to overcome them
- Consistently use positive behaviour techniques when supporting learners
- Actively consider using a range of appropriate, motivating, age respectfulness resources
This school is located only a 10 minute walk away from the nearest station, making your commute to and from work very accessible!
