SEN Teacher Assistant - Full Time - South East London - February Start

We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher Assistant to work full time at a special needs school starting in February. This special needs school supports students in achieving a happy and full independent adult life by creating a personalised curriculum with smaller classrooms to ensure each learner can unlock their full potential with confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Support reducing/removing barriers to participation in all learning and extracurricular activities
- Keep up to date with safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school
- Understand how autism can create barriers to learning and how to overcome them
- Value and use differences and diversities in learning support
- Know that behaviours are a communication and seek to understand these
This special needs school is located only a 10 minute walk away from the nearest station, ensuring an easy commute to and from work.
