Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 child with challenging behaviour in a mainstream primary school. This 1:1 role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN TA to make a real difference in a child's education and development.

The Role:

Providing 1:1 support for a KS2 child with SEN and challenging behaviour.
Implementing behaviour management strategies and offering emotional and academic support.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop tailored support strategies.
Creating a structured and positive learning environment to help the child succeed.
Encouraging positive social interactions and supporting emotional regulation.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with SEN children, particularly those with challenging behaviour.
A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs.
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build a trusting relationship.
Experience in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
