SEN Teaching Assistant | January Start | Kensington and Chelsea, W10 | Full-Time | £95-£110 per day | Long-Term to Permanent Role

Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to achieve their full potential? LTF Recruitment is seeking two SEN Teaching Assistants to join the dedicated Autism Resource Base of a welcoming primary school in W10. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children who have varying levels of ASD, ranging from non-verbal to high-level learners accessing the national curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with ASD, fostering a calm and nurturing environment.
  • Assist in delivering tailored activities and strategies based on education, health and care plans (EHCPs).
  • Support children in developing social, emotional, and communication skills.
  • Help manage behaviours in line with the school's policies, maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with the Specialist Teacher and other staff to ensure consistent support for each child.
  • Contribute to the preparation and organisation of resources and activities.

About You:

  • Experience working with children with ASD or in a specialist setting.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting children's needs.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
