Role Highlights:

  • Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term-time only.

Your Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil with additional needs.
  • Assist with delivering tailored learning activities to help the pupil achieve their potential.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and promote an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Implement behaviour strategies to keep the pupil engaged and on task.
  • Track progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCO.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with additional needs.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
