Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact? This role begins in January 2025 and offers a fulfilling experience in a supportive environment.
Role Highlights:
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support).
- Start Date: January 2025.
- Location: Leyton, Waltham Forest, with excellent transport links.
- Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term-time only.
- Pay: £80-£100 per day, based on experience.
Your Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil with additional needs.
- Assist with delivering tailored learning activities to help the pupil achieve their potential.
- Encourage positive social interactions and promote an inclusive classroom environment.
- Implement behaviour strategies to keep the pupil engaged and on task.
- Track progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCO.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with additional needs.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications).
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
