Reeson Education is excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a vibrant primary school in the borough of Waltham Forest, including areas such as Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, and Chingford. Role Highlights for an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Start Date: January 2025.
- Daily Rate: 80-100, depending on experience.
- Location: Schools in Waltham Forest, East London.
Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Support pupils with SEN, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural needs, either 1:1 or in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualised education plans.
- Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Assist in delivering tailored activities that promote learning and development.
What We're Looking for in an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in an educational or care setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively within the school community.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 in Childcare or SEN-specific training, are advantageous.
