Reeson Education is excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a vibrant primary school in the borough of Waltham Forest, including areas such as Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, and Chingford. This rewarding role begins in January 2025 and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with SEN.
Role Highlights for an SEN Teaching Assistant:- Start Date: January 2025.
- Daily Rate: £80-£100, depending on experience.
- Location: Schools in Waltham Forest, East London.
- Support pupils with SEN, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural needs, either 1:1 or in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualised education plans.
- Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Assist in delivering tailored activities that promote learning and development.
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in an educational or care setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively within the school community.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 in Childcare or SEN-specific training, are advantageous.
