A welcoming primary school in West Hampstead are looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis immediately

The Role 

In this role you will be supporting a girl in Year 4 on a 1 to 1 basis. She has cerebral palsy and needs support with transitions. She also has a visual impairment so has all her work enlarged and uses an ipad to magnify the interactive whiteboard.

She has processing difficulties so she will need work broken down and lots of repetition of key concepts. She requires maths support and interventions to help her retain key concepts.She is a lovely girl and her family is very supportive. You will work alongside teaching staff and the SEND team to ensure she is safe and supported appropriately.

The School

The school is a welcoming, friendly, two form entry school. The school encourages a love for learning through a rich and broad curriculum and extended activities. You will be working with a friendly staff team who are passionate about children achieving the best possible outcomes.
