Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary School in Southwark to work on a long-term or short-term basis starting as soon as possible!

You’ll be joining a supportive school, focused on highlight two of their school values, such as diversity, equality, etc.

This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

 What You’ll Be Doing in the Role: 

  • Promoting inclusion and acceptance of all students

  •  Delivering catch-up sessions

  • Supporting pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs

  • Working with the class teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate

Essential Qualifications:  

  •  Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting

  •  Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills

  • Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience

  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
