About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one or group support to students with special educational needs, including those with SEMH.
- Assisting in creating and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting teachers in delivering personalised education plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Building positive relationships with students to encourage confidence and independence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an SEMH or SEN setting is preferable.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
