SEN Teaching Assistant | Wandsworth, SW17 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024 | Long-term, full time role

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school located in the Wandsworth area. The school is looking for a teaching assistant to join them on a full-time basis from January, working the full academic year, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-1 support to a student with special educational needs
  • Contribute to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment
  • Collaborate with other professionals to work towards the best outcomes for students with SEN.
  • Encourage active participation and engagement in learning
  • Support students with their overall well-being by delivering targeted SEN interventions to support learning and development

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a relevant level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification/degree
  • Have experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Have a passion for helping children to overcome challenges and reach their full potential
  • Have a passionate, calm and patient personality and a genuine passion for supporting children and their academic development.
