You will be working in the Year 4 class as a SEN Teaching Assistant (Speech & Language Focus), working on a 1:1 basis with a child.

  • Supporting a child with speech and language needs
  • Working in and out of the classroom with the child
  • Supporting with academics and SEMH check ins
  • Long Term & Full Time - until July 2025
  • £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
  • Located in the Borough of Wandsworth

PERSON SPECIFICATION - SEN Teaching Assistant (Speech & Language Focus)

  • Good record of academics - degree, A level, GCSEs
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN, would be ideal
  • Calm and compassionate nature
  • Patient and adaptable to suit the needs of the child
  • You must be able to work effectively as part of a team, and be willing to learn
  • Holds a registered DBS or be willing to apply for one ASAP
