Location: SE4, South London

Rate: £90 - £100 Per day

Remedy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate candidate who is willing to support key stage 3&4 pupils with Autism and ADHD with within an SEN primary school. As this is a daily supply role this gives you an amazing work, personal life balance. This SEN Teaching Assistant role can be quite challenging as you will be working with challenging behaviour, ASD and SEMH students.

You will collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student.

SEN Teaching Assistant |Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
