Long Term Futures are delighted to be working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Haringey, N17, seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Rainbow SEN Room. This role involves providing 1:1 tailored support to children transitioning between Reception and Year 1 who have Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to children with SEN, fostering their academic and personal growth.
- Assist in implementing tailored strategies such as visual timetables, sensory tools, and reward systems.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to deliver a well-rounded learning experience.
- Support children in managing their emotions and behaviour in a calm and empathetic manner.
- Ensure the children's needs are met, including any personal care requirements.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development.
About You:
- Proven experience supporting children with SEN, particularly in Early Years or KS1.
- A strong understanding of visual aids, sensory approaches, and positive behaviour management.
- A patient, calm, and caring approach to working with children.
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support are desirable.
