SEN Teaching Assistant - Islington, London

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
* Assist in the implementation of Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and behaviour management strategies.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during lessons, addressing their specific learning needs.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt learning materials and resources.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where students feel comfortable and valued.
* Monitor and track students' progress, reporting back to the SEN coordinator and teachers.
* Support with personal care and mobility needs, where required.
* Promote a safe and positive learning atmosphere, adhering to safeguarding guidelines.
A thriving SEN School, are looking for an SEN TA to start from January 2025 on a long term contract until July with education and training development in the form of teacher training available for the right candidate.
