A welcoming secondary school in Islington is searching for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from February, with trial days to take place ASAP. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support for students with SEN, helping them achieve their learning goals.
- Promote a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and growth.
- Work alongside teachers and the SEN Coordinator to implement personalised support plans.
- Build positive, encouraging relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role with young people is required.
- A genuine passion for supporting SEN students and aiding their development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patient, adaptable, and positive approach to student learning.
