About the role
You will be teaching students who have an EHCP statement of Autism aged 16-21 years old within this excellent special school’s post-16 provision. Students may have issues with their speech and language, understanding basic and complex concepts and may need assistance with every day tasks and personal care. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that are adaptive and inclusive to ensure all students are able to learn and engage to the best of their ability with the lesson. Prior experience teaching students with special educational needs is essential for this role.
This role is suitable for Fully Qualified Teachers (Holding UK QTS), with right to work in the UK on a full-time basis and prior experience teaching students with special educational needs.
This role will be full-time Monday-Friday during term time 8.00am-4pm so applicants must be able to commit to this.
