Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – NHS Early Intervention Service (EIS)
Location: North London
Contract: 3–6 months, ongoing
Hours: Full-time, 9 am–5 pm
Pay Rate: £27–£30 per hour
Start Date: December 2024–January 2025

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join the Early Intervention Service (EIS) team within the NHS in North London. This role is ideal for a motivated and experienced mental health professional who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary EIS team to support recovery-focused outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with service standards and policies.
  • Provide psychoeducation and support to individuals and their families or carers.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse.
  • Proven experience as a CPN, with EIS experience highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and care planning skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
