Behaviour Mentors Needed for Secondary School, Brixton

Prospero Teaching is looking to recruit dedicated learning support in the form of Behaviour Mentors. These Behaviour Mentors would work with an Offsted 'Good' school assisting the existing behaviour management team to build a strong connection with students and help their growth on a more personal level then other positions could.

Role Highlights:

SEMH Support: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting children, focusing on their behavioural development.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a structured and positive learning atmosphere.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or small group behavioural support to children with Autism.
Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised behavioural plans.
Foster a positive and structured classroom environment.
Monitor and document student behaviour, adapting strategies as needed.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Recently graduated from university
Be able to quickly build relationships with students and staff.
Enhanced DBS Certificate (within 1 year or on the update service) or be willing to apply and pay for one.
2 X Refs that cover the last 2 years
Right to work in the UK
