Are you a passionate Early Years Practitioner eager to make a positive impact in the lives of young children with special educational needs? Our partner school in Camden NW1 is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to support children in their essential developmental years within a mainstream primary school environment. This role is ideal for experienced practitioners who are committed to providing tailored support to children with SEN in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Role Overview:

As a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere where children feel supported and valued. Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO, you'll implement individualized learning plans and contribute to an environment that encourages social, emotional, and educational growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with SEN, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Assist in planning and delivering activities designed to foster social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents/carers.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that meets the unique needs of each child.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Experience working with young children, ideally within a nursery or primary school setting.
  • Familiarity with the EYFS curriculum and strategies for supporting children with SEN.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting children with diverse learning needs.
