Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Practitioner to join our team. This is a rewarding, flexible role where you will provide support to learners, either on a one-to-one basis or in a whole-class setting. Responsibilities include offering literacy and numeracy assistance, supporting young people with additional needs, and, where required, assisting with personal care duties. Specific duties may vary depending on the needs of the learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to learners based on individual needs.
  • Assist with literacy and numeracy development.
  • Support learners with additional needs and disabilities.
  • Supervise and manage learners in a classroom environment.
  • Assist with personal care duties, where necessary.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to support and supervise learners effectively.
  • Supportive, positive, and non-judgmental attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Level 2 or above in Teaching Assistant/Learning Support qualification.
  • English and Maths at Level 2 (Essential).
