SEN Teacher – Primary School, Tower Hamlets

Key Responsibilities – Primary SEN Teacher
•    Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEND.
•    Use a range of teaching strategies and interventions to support children’s learning and development.
•    Work closely with support staff, therapists, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to education.
•    Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
•    Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and well-being.
•    Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates and guidance on supporting learning at home.

Person Specification - Primary SEN Teacher
•    UK QTS required with experience in SEN or inclusive education.
•    A passion for SEN education and ability to meet individual learning needs. 
•    A caring and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to helping every child succeed.
•    Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a structured and engaging learning environment.
•    Excellent communication and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.
•    A proactive and reflective teacher, keen to develop professionally and embrace new teaching strategies.
